Our January edition will take place at Vogelfrei. This beautiful spacious dance floor also has an outdoor roof terrace to offer if you feel like cooling down or even cuddling up by the fire in the cosy space up front.
FreeFlow initiator Laura Jayne will take you on a dance journey, where she blends her spicy dance floor cocktail using psychedelic soundscapes, catchy Afro Beat, sultry disco, tribal electronica mixed with some surprising drum & bass breaks. She'll be joined by friends & musicians from the Moonshine Sound Collective for that extra surprise in depth and uplifting energy on the floor. Expect an Indian psychedelic sitar and some live percussion to get the heat going! Come share her joy for music and rhythm this Sunday morning, she's excited to finally share her 2 hours DJ set with the - now established - FreeFlow tribe!
Flow freely by expressing yourself through movement in any pure (without substances) and transforming way with respect to the people around you. The dance space is a phone-free and non-speaking area where we dance without shoes.
Time schedule: 10:30 doors open, change, relax and slowly get to know the space 11:00 opening session with embodiment exercises 11:20 dance with DJ Laura Jayne 13:20 live music 13:45 closing circle 14:00 chill out with nourishing fruit & nuts
Practicalities: - During the dance there will be water and tea provided (please bring your own bottle) - Wear comfortable clothing to move freely in - No refunds or rescheduling possible - We encourage you to join from the whole experience, please aim to be there no later than 11 am - Space holders are present - Vogelfrei is accessible through the NAR, the gate will be open to access the venue
We are super excited to vibe with you on this new playful adventure. FreeFlow will be a regular Sunday morning dance experience in Utrecht. We hope this will be a beautiful addition to the local ED community.
